1. Overview
SourcePro Signers is a mobile notary coordination agency that connects certified, experienced notaries with clients across the state of Georgia, including lenders, title companies, attorneys, and individuals requiring notarial services. By engaging with SourcePro Signers—either as a Client or a Notary—you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions.
2. Definitions
Agency: Refers to SourcePro Consultants D/B/A Signers, LLC.
Client: Any business or individual that hires SourcePro Signers to provide notarial services.
Notary: An independent contractor notary public contracted by SourcePro Signers to perform notarizations on its behalf.
Assignment: A scheduled notary job coordinated by SourcePro Signers for a Client.
3. For Clients
3.1 Service Scope
SourcePro Signers agrees to assign a qualified, background-checked, Georgia-commissioned notary to perform mobile notarial services at a time and location specified by the Client.
3.2 Service Fees
Fees are determined based on assignment type, distance, time of day, and any special service requests. Rush, weekend, or after-hours assignments may incur additional charges. A travel fee will be applied for distances exceeding 15 miles.
3.3 Cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time. Same-day cancellations with less than 2 hours’ notice may result in a partial or full fee, depending on the notary’s travel or wait time.
3.4 Errors and Omissions
Clients must notify SourcePro Signers within 48 hours of any issues with the completed documents. The Agency will coordinate corrective action at no additional cost in cases of notary error.
3.5 Payment Terms
Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise stated in a written agreement. Net-30 terms may be available for repeat or institutional Clients. Late payments may incur a 5% monthly late fee.
3.6 No Guarantee of Availability
While we make every effort to match Clients with a notary, SourcePro Signers does not guarantee availability and may decline service requests due to scheduling conflicts or coverage limitations.
4. For Notaries
4.1 Independent Contractor Status
All notaries engaged by SourcePro Signers operate as independent contractors. Nothing in this agreement shall be construed as creating an employee-employer relationship.
4.2 Compliance Requirements
All notaries must:
Hold an active Georgia Notary Public Commission
Pass a background check
Maintain E&O insurance (recommended minimum: $25,000)
Abide by Georgia notarial laws and ethical guidelines
Dress professionally and conduct themselves with courtesy and discretion
4.3 Assignment Acceptance
Notaries must confirm acceptance of each assignment within the time requested. Failure to respond, late arrivals, or unprofessional conduct may result in removal from the active roster.
4.4 Errors and Corrections
If an error is reported on a completed assignment due to notary negligence, the notary agrees to correct the issue promptly at no additional charge to the Client or Agency.
4.5 Payment Terms
Notaries will be paid per assignment based on agreed rates. Payment is made via [Direct Deposit/Check] within 14 business days after assignment completion and confirmation.
4.6 Confidentiality
Notaries must maintain confidentiality of all documents, personally identifiable information (PII), and Client records reviewed during an assignment.
5. General Terms
5.1 Limitation of Liability
SourcePro Signers shall not be held liable for any damages beyond the cost of the notarial service provided. Clients and Notaries assume full responsibility for their actions and compliance with state laws.
5.2 Amendments
SourcePro Signers reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the latest version.
5.3 Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Cobb County, GA.
